Week 3: It’s a Party! 🎉🔥

(One last push… the Open finale!)

Hello Bantam Members!

Welcome to the final week of the 2026 CrossFit Open! One last workout and we wrap up another great year of the Open.

This week we are back to our Friday Night Lights schedule, so be sure to check Zen Planner for the adjusted daytime class schedule.

Heats will begin at 4:30 PM and will run until approximately 6:30–7:00 PM.

Class WODs on Friday will also be the Open workout, so everyone will have a chance to participate.

🎉 Post-Workout Celebration

After Friday Night Lights, plan to stick around!

We want to celebrate everything you’ve accomplished during the Open and throughout the last year.

We will be ordering pizza, and you are welcome to bring your own beverages.

As always, if you’re registered for the Open but cannot make it Friday evening, please talk to a coach so we can help schedule a time for you to complete the workout.

🏆 Intramural Open – Week 3

We’ve reached the final week of our Intramural Open, and there are still points to be earned!

Teams can continue earning weekly points by:

• Completing the Open workout
• Participating in Friday Night Lights
• Judging another athlete
• Dressing on theme

Week 3 Theme: BANTAM SPIRIT

Break out your Bantam gear and show your gym pride!

👕 Bantam Merch Update

Speaking of Bantam gear, we will be placing another merch order soon, so stay tuned for more information.

📈 What’s Coming Up This Week

This week we continue progressing toward the CrossFit Other Total, which includes:

• Overhead Squat
• Bench Press
• Squat Clean

You’ll see each of these lifts again this week as we continue building toward that benchmark.

🗓 Weekly Breakdown

Monday
Overhead squat progression continues (part of our upcoming Other Total), followed by a modified version of Fran.

Tuesday
Bench Press Day (also part of the Other Total) as we continue our linear progression. The workout will be a fun AMRAP with an ascending rep scheme.

Wednesday
Practice the final lift of the Other Total: the squat clean, followed by a challenging pyramid-style workout.

Thursday
Recovery day. The suggested workout will have a slightly different format, but you’ll also have the option to create your own adventure. We’ll finish with some Pliability work to get everyone ready for Friday.

Friday
Open Workout 26.3 – Friday Night Lights!

Saturday
A partner WOD featuring cardio, core work, and some advanced gymnastics skills.
(Subject to change depending on what Friday’s workout looks like.)

📅 Schedule Update

One final update:

The noon class is no longer on the schedule for the time being.
